A Taste of Syria

Rajab and Hanan al Sheayer and their four children came to Canada in February 2016. By April of the same year, they began sharing Syrian food with Owen Sound through both the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market and their catering business. Since then, they have welcomed two more children into the world and their business has continued to expand, but their passion for sharing the flavours of Syria with the community remains the same. At A Taste of Syria, you can find an assortment of nutritious, freshly made Syrian foods like zaatar pizza, Tabouli, Yalanji, Sambousek, Syrian spiced rice, and much more.
